MMA, or Mixed Martial Arts, is the fastest growing one-on-one competitive sport in the world. The XFC aggressively champions this sport, setting themselves apart from the pack with their special brand of cage fighting that primarily focuses on their support and involvement with the military. “All military, past and present, get into the XFC events for FREE. They simply show their military I.D. and walk right in to enjoy the show as our guests”. No matter what anyone’s political views are, the XFC says it’s all about the people who do what they are asked, and work hard to keep us free. It’s not about a war, or some hidden agenda…it’s about them.

“We feel it’s the least any of us can do to pay tribute,
and show our armed forces they have our love and support!”

The XFC has already set record-breaking attendance for their first two “Salute Our Armed Forces” events, and will continue on that path with numbers 3 and 4 in the series, first at Rupp Arena in Lexington Kentucky on June 7th 2008, and followed by June 28th at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa Florida. The Forum in Tampa has set a record as the number one venue in the US for their most recent quarter in ticket sales, something partially attributed to their exclusive contract with Xtreme Fighting Championships.

St. Pete Times Forum leads U.S. venues

The St. Pete Times Forum is having a record spring. The arena ranked as the No. 1 venue in North America and placed second among venues in the world in ticket sales for the period of Feb. 16 to March 15, according to Venues Today, a concert industry publication. It helped that the Forum hosted the first two rounds of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, and events such as Xtreme Fighting Championships “Salute Our Armed Forces”, Blue Man Group, and concerts such as Dierks Bentley and Jonas Brothers.

The XFC is also jumping head-first into the “Pay-Per View” markets around the world, and with a special message to everyone; “Every time a fan pays to view our shows, a portion of ALL proceeds will go to a very special charity, one the XFC is proud to champion; The Special Operations Warrior Foundation”. Or better known by its acronym, SOWF.

Special Operations personnel are conducting more
missions, in more places, and under a broader range
of conditions thanever before. These missions entail
high operational tempos,heavy and unpredictable
deployment schedules, personal hardships and, by
their very nature, inordinate casualties both in
operations and training. Unfortunately these casualties occur at an early age, at the beginning of their careers, thus leaving behind families who have yet to accumulate the resources to provide for their surviving children's college education.

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation strives to relieve Special Operations personnel of the one concern, their families, that might distract them from peak performance when they need to be - and when America needs them to be - at their very best.
Today, more than 700 such deserving children exist from Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps special operations personnel who paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Their children should not be denied the education their fallen parent would surely have wanted for them. With more than 100 children eligible each year for college in the upcoming years, the Foundation's financial need, determined by a professional actuarial corporation, is $76 million.

No matter what obstacles present themselves, we pledge to continue to work diligently and unselfishly to preserve the legacy of our fallen Warriors through the college education of the families they left behind – the XFC believes in this and will be doing all it can to give, not only monetarily, but also by raising public awareness ~SOWF

The XFC will also be using their in-house cable distribution to over 90 million homes to get their supportive military message across. By utilizing their unprecedented cable connections and commercial slots across the continental US and Canada, they will be able to greatly enhance the marketing of their “Pay-Per-View” campaigns, getting the message out to the patriotic masses and the growing stable of die-hard MMA fans.

Keep your eyes peeled, Xtreme Fighting Championships will be coming to a town, and a TV set near you very soon!
